At Nate & Lane we build our products the old fashioned way, by hand, one at a time. No mass production. Every board is hand selected, cut, sanded, stained or painted by our local craftsman, giving you an heirloom piece for generations to come. Nate & Lane began in 2017, shortly after Farra had asked her husband to make her a swing bed like the ones she had seen become popular in the area. Eric, who had learned carpentry work from his grandfather by working with him as a child, made the bed out of scrap wood in his grandfather's shop, and Farra painted it bright pink.

Our Story
Once they had finished the bed and posted pictures of it on social media, a friend reached out to them wanting to buy two. Those custom-made beds later became known as the Bailey bed, named after their first customer. With even more interest from friends and clients around the country, Nate & Lane was created, with each design being named after the client who first came up with the design and purchased the bed and to this day, they still use Eric's grandfather's tools on each project.

Today, they make a variety of swing styles and sizes that can also include Sunbrella or Perennial pillows and cushions, and a variety of hanging hardware. In addition to the swing beds, they make custom designs for clients including free standing pieces, farmhouse style tables, and other local freelance work. From the beginning, Eric and Farra have believed that what makes their business special is the personal touch that they put into each bed and the personal relationships they form with each client. "We see each bed as a reflection of us," says Eric. This is why they take pride being involved in the entire process from hand selecting the wood, to staining or painting the piece, and having each product delivered white glove or in person to each client. "To us, it is not about growing Nate & Lane, but more about growing friendships," says Eric. "We advertise and hope to sell our products, but at the end of the day, each swing is like building lifelong friendships."
We pray our pieces become the favorite place to gather. Where fathers sit with their children, friends share love and hardships with one another, and a peaceful spot for God's voice to be heard.
